Europe u0027s Secular Mission

Thus passes the glory of the world.

Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at those who believe.

This worldly life has been made very charming and alluring for those who have adopted the way of disbelief.

As for the life of this world, it is no more than merchandise of vanity.

The life of this world is nothing but enjoyment of vanity.

The life of this world is nothing but delusion.

Think of it as a kind of secular church.

Yet they say There is nothing but the life of this world.

Verily the life of this world is no more than a sport and frivolity.

The life of the world is but a sport and a pastime.

The life of this word is nothing but play and pastime.

The life of this world is but sport and amusement.

Adam a.s. was given a religious honor

Be not deceived by the comings and goings of unbelievers in the land.

O listener (followers of this Prophet)! Do not ever be deceived by the disbelievers free movements in the cities.

Let it not delude thee, that the unbelievers go to and fro in the land

Let not beguile thee the moving to and fro about of those who disbelieve, in the cities

Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you.

Do not be impressed by the disbelievers movements in the land.

(O Messenger!) Do not let the strutting about of the unbelievers in the land deceive you.

Let not the vicissitude (of the success) of those who disbelieve, in the land, deceive thee (O Muhammad).

Enamoured are the unbelievers of the life of this world, and scoff at the faithful.

Fair seeming is made the life of the world unto those who disbelieve, and they scoff at those who believe, whereas those who fear God shall be above them on the Day of Resurrection.

Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they ridicule those who believe.

Beautified is the life of the world for those who disbelieve they make a jest of the believers.

They say There is no other life but that of this world, and we will not be raised (from the dead).

And they said, There is no other life except our life of this world, and we are not to be raised.

And they say, 'There is only our present life we shall not be raised.'

And they say there is naught but our life of the world, nor are we to be raised.

And they said There is no (other life) but our (present) life of this world, and never shall we be resurrected (on the Day of Resurrection).

And they say, There is nothing but our life in this world, and we will not be resurrected.

They say now 'There is nothing but the life of this world, and we shall not be raised from the dead.'

And they say There is naught save our life of the world, and we shall not be raised (again).

I thought, maybe there's some earthly basis for moral decisions.

The life of this world is just a brief usage, and indeed the next abode is one of everlasting stay.

Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.

Lo! this life of the world is but a passing comfort, and lo! the Hereafter, that is the enduring home.

For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

As for the life of this world, it is nothing but a frolic and frivolity. The final abode is the best for those who are pious and fear God.

So do not let the life of this world delude you, nor let that (arch) deceiver deceive you about God.

The present life is naught but a sport and a diversion surely the Last Abode is better for those that are godfearing.

And naught is the life of world but a play and a sport, and surely the abode of the Hereafter is better for those who fear.

So let not the life of the world beguile you, and with respect to Allah let not beguile you the great be guiler.
