But of mankind there are some who say Our Lord!

Some say, Our Lord, give us all the good things here in this world.

Give us good in the world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of fire!

Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!

Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the doom of Fire.

Pour (bestow abundantly) patience on us, and bestow us death as Muslims.

Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.

Pour out patience upon us, and receive our souls in submission.

Shower us with perseverance and cause us to die as those who have submitted to You .'

Vouchsafe unto us steadfastness and make us die as men who have surrendered (unto Thee).

Show us your loving kindness, Yahweh. Grant us your salvation.

Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

Give us our (daily) bread, for You are the best of all givers of food.

Give us our (daily) bread, for You are the best of all givers of food.

Bestow on us Your blessings for You are the benevolent.

Give us our (daily) bread, for You are the best of all givers of food.

And provide for us Thou art the best of providers.'

Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Bestower.

Give us our (daily) bread, for You are the best of all givers of food.

O our Lord, give us sufficient endurance that we may die submitting (to You).

And provide for us Thou art the best of providers.'

But some there are who pray Give us of good in the world, O Lord, and give us of good in the life to come, and suffer us not to suffer the torment of Hell.

And others there are who say, 'Our Lord, give to us in this world good, and good in the world to come, and guard us against the chastisement of the fire'

And of mankind are some who say our Lord! vouchsafe unto us good in the world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the torment of the Fire.

And among them is he who says, Our Lord, give us goodness in this world, and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.

Then there are others who say, Our Lord, give us what is good in this world and also what is good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of Fire.

There are some who say Give us, O Lord, in the world but they will forego their share in the life to come.

Give us in this world and he does not have a portion in the Hereafter.

Give us mercy from Yourself, and arrange guidance for us in our affair.
